Sorry you had such a bad experience!!!! I too did not like going to stores that do not let you look through their gowns. I told my mom its like they just wanna push one you like on you so they get a sale. I think they feel if she show you more you may get confused and still wanna shop. JMO

I went there and had a good experience. I didn't end up buying my dress there b/c I found one at another store.

BUT, HOW RUDE - I'm surprised the owner didn't have you meet with someone else who wasn't so rude. What the he!! good does apologizing do. If I owned a shop and one of my employees was rude to a customer- I would rectify the situation then and there- not have the customer be further inconvienenced.

So what does that say- the biotches work in Massapequa and the others work in Carle Place-

I wouldn't go back at all- screw them!!!!

yes, she was skinny, and soft spoken with an attitude, lol. totally reminded me of like one of the girlfriends of alvin simon or theodore, lol. haha.

It sounds like you described Darnell, the woman who helped me. I am in shock she was the sweetest woman and my mother and I loved her. As I said earlier these workers must be maniac because when I was there she was the nicest person - I couldn't believe I was so lucky to have her help me!!!

I'm so sorry that you had such a horrible experience! I would have wanted to walk out if I can't try on what I like.

If you like Lillette's in Baldwin is a great place to look for gowns- if you decide to make an appointment ask for Gerri- she's such a doll. I got my Maggie gown there.

True I happen to have fallen in love with a dress she picked for me. I told her what I wanted and she showed me a dress that I had dreamed of, that's probably why I hold her on a pedestal!!!

wow... that's ridiculous. i've been told that the customer service is better at masapeaqua than at carle place. i live right down the block from the Carle Place location and when i went in to make an apointment they told me to go home and call them....
i hate that place.

Wow I am so surprised that this place does good business- what is the diffrence between making an appointment in person and over the phone?

I wouldn't be able to tolerate such rudeness.

i got my dress from Helens bridal in commack..niw they have a small place and they mainly deal in maggie sottero and alfred angelo...if you like any of their dresses id go there and look they are soooo nice and so awesome and their prices are awesome!!!!

so sorry u had to deal with that im glad i didnt go there i would have punched her in the face!!! lol

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. i went there yesterday to the massapequa location. I was early too, and the woman at the desk was super nice! I was there for almost 2 hours and she let me try on as many dresses as i liked. So sorry...that woman needs a serious talking to...how rude!
