Back from first fitting - no pics though :-(

We had the camera but no chip in the camera. SILLY daddy forgot to put one in and my mom didn't check before we left.

Everything went pretty normal - had to get my dress taken in and the jacket needs to be let out a bit under my arms for extra room for when i reach for things.

I really did enjoy the French style. $150 and mom my was not happy but was like oh well. I just didn't care for it just being tacked up to my zipper it made the dress look messy. Going to decide next fitting.

Then i tried my cage veil on with the dress and was kinda digging it but then my mom HATED IT and the girls at the shop were like huh well it looks interested. I felt odd then so i tired on some more tradition veils that were just tacked on the back of my head so now i am confusion of what to do.

Guess i find out the 13th at my next fitting and next time i bring WORKING CAMERA!

hmmm the cage veil thing, i mean it sounds like you like it and the look you want to go for. I know others will always have their opinions but also do something you'll love and that is you. How did you like the look with the regular veil?

Sounds like it went mostly well! Sorry the veil thing is confusing....I think it's a unique look and not everyone is going to love it, or even 'get it'....like espo I'm wondering how you liked it with the traditional veil? obviously I don't know you but you always seem to me like the kind of girl who likes things a bit different (in a good way), so just be sure YOU are happy with your look

the traditional veil was fine. It just wasn't even showing when you look at me from the front unless you put the blusher down (which that is when i liked it) but it looked silly from the back to me. I just wanted something not traditional since I am not 100% a traditional gal . I wish I had pics of it honestly i could of sat and looked at the both and really know what to do.

May have to go back to try both on with the sample dress since my dress is being altered now.

that sounds like a good idea....maybe the question you need to figure out is if you like the cage veil just b/c it's non-traditional, or b/c you really like it (don't get me wrong, I think it looks really cool in your hair trial pics, but ultimately you have to decide )

i completely agree with you! That is what my mom said to me. I am normally good at doing what i want when i wear something and know exactly what i should do but in this case i have no clue.

I personally like the cage viel in your albums! I think it would be great with your dress.

If you want to go the route to make everyone happy, then use the cage viel for some pictures for yourself.

I would do both veils so you get professional pics with both on
