BTW-that's a great field right now with all of the e-mail archiving litigation that's going on in big companies.

As long as you have a plan I'm sure she'll chill out. I was glad to find Suny Empire, it really helped me with a path. As far as the job is concerned, have you thought about help desk associate? I know in the city there are big help desks that could use someone with your background. There have to be some local as well. I hope this helps and I know what it's like to be miserable where you work and you don't deserve to be miserable. Try not to beat yourself up about it, it's just a job.

I know..you are right. I am looking at the SUNY Empire website right now...and I will check it out more when I go home....

It is just a job, but you gotta realize that you spend 40 hours a week here and you may as well be happy. I would like to make more money, and I would like to enjoy what I am doing...Is that soo much to ask.

Scott, I know we've been going back and forth with the emails, but if you find something different out from the guy you meet with today, let me know. One of the great things about the classes I took was that the brokers were the one's teaching the class. This one guy was making crazy amounts of money and was once a teacher. He said you'll never make money working a job and he's right. I just hope I pass the state exam because that might give me the incentive to move on. I really hate my day job too.

I was thinking of going back to school to become a teacher but I know that's such a far off goal, it sort of cements my feet to the ground, you know what I mean?

Yes I do. That is exactly how I feel now.

I am not meeting with anyone today, at least I dont think I am. I am going to call them after work to schedule something.
