Back to Business

So, did anybody else take a 2-3 month break from planning? I did nothing for the past few months to give me and my fiance a break.

I have my first January appointment today with a florist and then after the fiance gets out of surgery on the 18th, since he can't move for a few days... I can finally get him to look over everything with me since he'll be trapped!!!! heheheh... (devil smile)

ok i admit it - i took a long break too. Kinda feeling unproductive but i know i'll get back into it soon so i'm not too worried.

I did not do that much during the holidays. That us the nice thing about having our wedding in 2012 we do not gave to be crazy and we rake take breaks if we need to.

We took a break too. FH didn't want to do anymore planning until after he graduted from school.

I haven't done a thing lately! My plan was to finish my class and get into it full time, except now I'm taking another class instead I'll need some extra motivation

We booked our RH and asked our officiant in August... and then had four check-less months until I bought my dress a few days ago.

The fact that your wedding is a week behind mine makes me feel better that I don't have anything more done

how long were you guy planning for before you stopped? we just got engaged new years eve... we booked our church and reception hall.... and now the rest of this month we are looking at dj's photographers, florists, etc.... are we rushing or just on a role to get everything done so we are less stressed at the end?? amazing thing is fh is the one pushing for all the appointments.

In the beginning I just went to showcases and everything. My mother is the one who wants to do all the planning.. so I went all over the place with her. Now, I sat down and decided what I liked and what I want and we were going to plan at my pace. I just needed everyone to calm down first because they were ALL driving me crazy. Mind you.. we got engaged in April.. and now I finally can breathe.

Just go at your own pace. If you and FH want to make appointments.. have fun. Just don't do anything for other people.
