BAD day.

BAD day.

Went out to lunch and on the way back, I got into a BAD accident.

Lady was coming out of Costco. I was traveling east going straight. She decided to make the turn when I was approx 15 feet away. I was doing about 35 MPH. When I saw her turn, it was too late to avoid anything. She pushed my car into the opposite lane. I have damage on both sides now. The drivers side which she hit and the passenger side which came from me going into the other car. THAT car left the scene.

THANK GOD that I had a witness who stayed with me and the lady that hit me confirmed to him that it was her fault. I already contacted my insurance company and gave them my witnesses phone number and name.

I just hope this lady's company pays. From the insurance company's point of view- she is about 100% to 90% at fault. But Allstate likes to fight- which is her company. So we shall see.

I am in pain- my arm is effed up and bruised and it's hurting SO much now. So, I am def getting it checked out.

Awwww Im really sorry to hear about this. Its HORRIBLE! I hope everything is ok! And I hope Allstate doesnt fight it, but they probably will. Did you take pics at all at the accident site and of your car and her car?

Oh no! Definitely go to the dr. to have it on record immediately. I'm happy that you weren't seriously injured. I hope everything gets processed and taken care of quickly.

i'm sorry this happened to you. I'm glad you are doing ok. Just take it easy for today and rest up. Hopefully everything will work out with the insurance company.

Yes I did. I also have a report and a witness so I should be good to go.

OMG!!! Go to the emergency room so you have that for insurance...it will look better for your case if you go now and not wait for a doc appointment. These things suck... thank god you are ok!!! Good luck!!!

And thank you girls for the kind words. I am shaken up. I was crying for a while. I say to myself I wish I didn't go out for lunch. But everything happens for a reason. We shall see.

Oh my goodness...you poor thing...the most importan thting is to make sure your arm is taken care of and YOU are ok..the car will be fixed...dont worry!

That's awful.

Isn't there something for when you leave the scene of an accident? Don't they get charges or something? Sorry if I sound so dumb right now... but I hate people who run off like that and I feel they should have repercussions.

Did you get info on the person to left the scene?

How come people automatically become bad drivers when costco is involved? My first accident ever was when someone backed into me in that parking lot! I feel like a target every time I go there!!!
