Ladies I don't want to bad mouth anyone, I just want everyone to be careful. Your wedding should be a great happy moment, I was not so lucky. I went to the bridal suite in Centereach (that's the name) and they sold me a dress and I paid for it in full I have a receipt stating I paid for the dress and it had a zero balance. I paid in cash because their policy was that the final payment should be cash. I sent someone to pick up the dress and the management over there told them no because there was still a balance. I called them and asked what happened, and they told me there was an internal error in the addition and that I owed and additional 150.00 on top of the 1300.00 I already paid. They were very stern in telling me that they would not release the dress until the balance was paid and there was noting I could do. I was stuck because here I was 5 days before the wedding and no dress so I had to eat the fee even though I had a reciept stating it was paid in full already. I just want people to be careful if you go there. They didn't offer an apology or comfort and 5 days before your wedding it's just not a nice feeling.

I did reply on the other post My Wedding was wonderful with the exception of the dress incident. It was at Windows on the Lake a beautiful lakeside ceremony, great weather great place. I bought a package from them so the photo, video, invites, flowers were all one stop shopping. Great place, great scenery, great food. Very nice staff

Wow, I went through sort of same situation with the 1st bridal shop...placed a deposit, and it was a nightmare, thank goodness I went to another shop, but I did have to contact BBB to get my $$$ fully refunded.
