Bad morning

Had a really bad morning. Still having a hard time. I found one of our rabbits dead this morning. He was only 3 and they are supposed to live like 10 years. It was even harder when I saw the other one licking him. They were best friends. I don’t know if we should get another one or just let it be. The other one we have is only 2 and I feel sorry for him.

Oh honey that terrible, I am SO SORRY ....take the other guy to the vet as soon as you can!

Awwwwwww....sorry about the poor bunny. I had a bunny and she died too. I miss her to this day.
Rabbits are very timid animals...and if they get sick, its hard to treat them. Take them to the vet and they freak out and get scared....the fear can actually kill them!

i used to have rabbits....they don't really have a long life expectancy....

I'm soooo sorry. I don't know anything about rabbits, but I do know about dogs-so, if it was a dog, I would let him pine/grieve for his pal (while I was grieving), and when I was ready, and I thought he was ready I would get another one.
I think that rabbits are den animals too, right? So, they crave companionship. I'm sorry for your loss.

I don't know anything about pets so I can't really help, ask your vet what they think is best.

I am so sorry for your loss!!! I wouldn't get another bunny just yet. We bought a bunny and we thought she was lonely and got another one. She tried to attack the new bunny. If they grew up together then they would be fine, but to bring another bunny in might upset your other bunny. I would ask your vet though.
