Well, just heard the news.

Starting july 1st, 2009 limo's are subject to nys tax!

limo buses - NO TAX
long suv's - no tax!

so don't be surprised if your limo company contacts you!

they only heard about this in May, and it is not thier fault!

ALSO, know the law so you are NOT taken advantage of! If you have cars and suv's make sure you are not taxed on both!!!

I will get you more info when I have it!

I got a letter from my limo comp also at the end of May. I called them and asked ho much more it will be and mine only came to about $30

yea its the NYS government who passed that in May.. but if you paid in full before June 1.2009 you won't get taxed

too bad I found about it in June! ugh
