Bad News Girls....

FH and I have decided to cancel our wedding.
This has been a very rough time for me...but I'm finally starting to feel some closure.
We tried everything we could do to save our relationship, but realized that we were only staying together b/c we were so comfortable with eachother. We're highschool sweethearts and alot has changed since we were 17.
Now I'm going into the real world and I guess I'll try dating (I've never really been a date before in my whole life)
In a way I'm excited and hopeful. I know that I will find someone out there who is PERFECT for me. I want a happy marraige and a happy life.

Thank you girls for always keeping my hopes up. It was wonderful to get to know all of you and good luck with all of your weddings. I'll quietly pop in next year to see pics of all of you at your weddings!

aww Marie I am so sorry at least you tried and i know it is so hard when you are comfortable with someone but you will find your soulmate

I'm so sorry. I know that this is a difficult time. I went through the same thing...tried counseling and broke up. 4 years later I am with my soulmate. Take this time to learn about yourself and be selfish. If you need anything do not hesitate to FM me.

aww i'm so so sorry to hear.. but if you were feeling this way now better to take action now. Its not the end of the world, I give you both props for facing the facts instead of being afraid. You will be fine and find someone wonderful- and whatever happens is what is meant to be!!! GOOD LUCK =)

I am so sorry Marie... but everything happens for a reason. I was engaged a few years ago and had I not called it off then I would have never met the wonderful man I am with now. You are a strong beautiful woman and even if it seems tough now you will only be stronger and WISER for it.
