Bad News Girls....

FH and I have decided to cancel our wedding.
This has been a very rough time for me...but I'm finally starting to feel some closure.
We tried everything we could do to save our relationship, but realized that we were only staying together b/c we were so comfortable with eachother. We're highschool sweethearts and alot has changed since we were 17.
Now I'm going into the real world and I guess I'll try dating (I've never really been a date before in my whole life)
In a way I'm excited and hopeful. I know that I will find someone out there who is PERFECT for me. I want a happy marraige and a happy life.

Thank you girls for always keeping my hopes up. It was wonderful to get to know all of you and good luck with all of your weddings. I'll quietly pop in next year to see pics of all of you at your weddings!

Really sorry to hear this, but like other girls say, you are a strong woman and its so much better than you were brave enough to walk away now, before you are married and things are so much harder. There is someone out there meant for you.

Sorry to here this but if you are content with your decision then that's all that matters and when it is you do find Mr. Right it's going to be an even better feeling.

AAwwww. I know it's hard, but don't sweat it...I was w/my high school sweetheart for 8 years and it was hard for me when it didn't work out either. But you will learn a LOT about yourself when you're dating, or even, just by being single. Good Luck with everything.

I have been in your situation- and you know the saying 'Don't settle for someone you can live with. Be with the person you can't live without' After getting out of a4 year relationship where we both loved each other but needed to part ways, I met FH - and fell head over heels in love with the most amazing man in the world. And THANK GOD I parted ways with Boy number one- otherwise I never would have met the love of my life.

My point is: One day you will look back at this and say the same thing 'THANK GOD I ended things, it allowed me to meet the man of my dreams'.

You have an amazing attitude. Hang in there mama, the next few months will be tough- but if you can make it through that, there is the promise of a bright, shiny future for you. BEST OF LUCK!
