Bad weekend! (Upsetting-you may not want to read)

Yesterday one of the kids on the block came over to see if our cats were missing.We said no why.
He told us someone just hit a cat and sped off.The cat walked two feet and died in the neighbors yard.
Now I have to tell the neighbor he has a dead cat in his yard.I don't know who's cat he was.
What is wrong with people? The jerk didn't even stop.

that happened to us when we were kids. One of our neighbors that lived down the block used to drive like an idiot and hit our cat. Then the kids made fun of my sister and I that our cat got hit...like it was a F**king joke!! My mother went to the ladies house and ripped her a new one. Never again did those kids EVER day anything to us again!! it made us feel better but we still lost our cat to some jerk!~!

People are just mean when it comes to animals!!!

I used to see that cat walking around in our yard sometimes.He was so cute.

Similar thing happened to my friend/neighbor's cat. The cat was in the process of crossing the street, and was 1 inch away from the curb, when a car full of 'kids' came and purposefully hit and killed this cat. I saw it, and I had to tell her.

Some people are just b@stards, will hopefully get what they deserve!

OMG,this is getting so much worse.
Why are people so cruel?
Cats and dogs are little animals that just want to be pet and have some of your attention.All they want is to love and be loved.

my poor angel was not herself yesterday at all, I think she may have thrown up but I couldnt tell if it was her or xena b/c I found it after the fact
the poor thing just layed on the couch all day and under my computer desk, I couldnt even find her at one point then when I logged off she stuck her little head out and that was all I saw
she wouldnt move
I sat on the coach and she just fell asleep on my chest
she just wanted to sleep all day but seemed happier when her 'Mommy' held her

We have two cats. I want to convince hubby to get a dog someday. I wish all pets could have a loving home.

I am so glad that my cats are indoor cats. It keeps them much safer, and they don't seem to mind as long as they have their big window to look out and watch the birds

People are sick!!! I just don't get it.

This is why Beemer is an indoor only cat (unless she is outside on her leash with us).
many people don't even think twice when they hit something small. They think it was a squirrel or rock or something. They have NO concern! so sad.

I HATE people like that. My mom spent last Saturday in the pouring rain waiting for the Animal Control (only people who would pick up an injured animal in Queens on a Saturday) to come pick up a dog that had been run over That @ss who ran her over didn't even stop

This happened a few times on my block growing up....but the driver, by law, only has to make an attempt to find the owner...what is the definition of attempt on this one?
