Band/DJ mix

Hey Ladies,
I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving :) So our wedding is in June and we still haven't booked our music. As it is to most people, music is SO important to us and we can't figure out if we want a band (I love a good horn section) or a DJ.

I have heard that Fusion DL is a company that will perform live music with the original vocal tracks. Has anyone seen or booked them? Is there anyone else out there that performs this way?

I just wanted to add that we booked a band (also love a good horn section!), and I love them! Code Bleu...if you're going with a band, definitely consider them!

I know several DJ companies can add a live trumpet or drums but I've never heard of what you're talking about...sounds interesting! Hope you find what you're looking for.

At my cousin's wedding she had a DJ who also had a live sax and drum that played along to certain songs. It was a very fun touch and I've heard a lot of DJs will offer this service if you ask for it!

Every DJ we met with offered live percussion and sax. I've never seen what you're talking about but sounds like the perfect blend. The reason we were anti-band was because we wanted the songs played to be sung by the original artists (and there was no way in hell we could afford a band lol). This sounds like a great idea! I'd definitely try to see them live or watch sample videos to make sure they are right for you. Having a band was a necessity for us so I get why you'd like live music!
