Does anyone know anything about a band called 'The Projekt?' Positive and negative feedback welcome, please! Thank you!! Also, if anyone knows any steven scott or hank lane bands in particular that are amazing, please let me know! We're going crazy figuring out which band to use! Thanks!

we are using the Marv Austin Orchestra from Steven Scott. FYI - we attempted to contract with Hank Lane's people but they were horrible so we would not sign with them. In a nutshell, HL's people wanted us to sign a K for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception that read they would only play through the ceremony, cocktail hour and two hours of the reception and then charge us over time for the additional two hours of the reception. Be very careful and read their contract over with a fine tooth comb.

I am sorry you had that experience, mine has been great so far!
I saw a showcase for the projekt and they were very good. I have heard a lot of good feedback on them. They seem to be a good value for the $.

We're using the Projekt. They are amazing. We've seen them a few times now and are so happy with our decision. We wanted Paris, but they were booked. I think the Projekt is just as good.

We used Niteflight and they were amazing..9pcs and very reasonable since they don't market themselves through an agent.
I went to a wedding last night and they used the band Arcadia...they were great! Choosing a band must be really though...good luck

I checked out Hank Lane but was unhappy when they told me that they don't showcase...unless I wanted to go to someones actual wedding (plus I would have had to work it out with the catering hall myself) I could only go from their videos. I felt kinda weird about doing that...JMO I ended up going with Soul Revival, they played at a friends wedding and we loved them. Their website is www.soulrevivalband.com Good luck, it can be an overwhelming thing, weeding out all of the bands to get to the one you love
