Band Help!

I don't know what to do. I am kinda torn between two bands

The Next Faze (from Faze 4 productions) and Daysbreaks Night (Franklin Wayne)

We have been to two weddings with Daybreaks night and loved them but my dad was worried that they won't be able to play the 'soulful' songs like motown and disco. In their showcase this week they only played really fun 'bar' songs.

I looked at The Next Faze who was really good but all I heard was the Motown and 70's disco. My FH and I love bon jovi/ACDC and those fun 80's songs and even though i know the whole night won't have that music I still want it to be good.

The price of the bands are much different:
Day's (6-7K)
Next Faze (9-10K)

My parent s said they will think about helping us with the difference but I don't know if 10K is really worth it on any band. Is there any other bands I should seriously consider. We like Conga drummers (silly but my dad was a drummer)

I have Daybreaks Night held to thursday so I really could use your girls help!!!!

I booked EASTCOAST!

They are amaizing... I went to see Daybreak, and Faze 4... but I felt so much more comfertable with Eastcoast...

I guess that doesn't make your decision any easier... but you should def check them out...

Do you have CD's from each band that you could listen to and play for friends? Can both bands play the songs you want to hear?
My FI and met with the bandleader for our band last night and I brought a huge list of the kind of things I wanted. We agreed on a bunch of songs and decided that the things they weren't able to play, it would be ok to toss in a CD. He was also able to suggest music I hadn't thought of for the quieter moments of the event, like during dinner.

Have another meeting with the band so they understand you interest and be straight with them about what you can afford. The first band FI and I almost went with dropped their asking price by 7K. That's a serious drop in price that they did just because we asked them.

Well first choice would be Heart and Soul, I have heard DayBreaks Night and I really like them as well. Hope this helps

go with franklin wayne music bands...they are great!!!

Daybreaks night was our second choice! We booked heart and soul... went to a wedding witih daybreaks and they were fabulous! the dance floor was packed... another wedding we have in july has daybreaks night... I loved them at their showcases
