band help...long

My FH and I are so sad...we are in search of a band and we trying to do it from watching videos because we are planning our long island wedding from buffalo. We really want a band that plays new update music...like Z100ish but we dont know who to book. Obviously everyone looks good from the videos.
We like the Franklin Wayne Band Vision but we know nothing about them...
Anyone have any thoughts...or suggestions on any bands that you think we should look into!!

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Re: band help...long

Daybreaks Night! They are also a Franklin Wayne band and are incredible! They played both my sisters and my wedding and people are still talking. They can cover anything and everything. Highly recommend!

I'm using Daybreaks Night too!

Two friends of mine have used them and so did my sister so I have seen them for a total of three times in 6 months!

They are great!

I know Vision opnly because Rashida actually used to be in another Franklin Wayne band that my sister used at her wedding. She is absolutely amazing. She has a huge vocal range!

Re: band help...long

The Projekt is the perfect band-SoundCheck Entertainment. They also manage the band PARIS who also sings new songs. We liked the two females leads in the Projekt better.WE had the same request for new songs and they met all of our requirements. We also liked Times Square but they DO not sign the newer songs. WE mwt with the band leader at his house and he siad they they can possibly learn new songs.

Re: band help...long

I listened to approximately 12 bands in my search. I ended up booking my band primarily because they can play Latin/Spanish music really well (a huge deal to my FH's family). Of the bands I listened to, I thought Renegade was really good and played a really good mix/variety of music. I heard good things about Paris, but they were already booked for my day so I never went to see them. Also at JozieB0925's wedding, she had Mirage Music, and I thought they were amazing. I thought their 'modern' music was great! Good luck! If you have any specific questions, I have notes on all of the bands I heard!
