Band Prices

Just wondering what everyone is paying for a Band - not DJ for a saturday night - I got a quote from one and i'm just wondering if it is in the right ballpark

Depends on the number of people in the band, they have to split the pot so to speak. also, if it's an afternoon wedding, they will be cheaper because they can still do a gig that same night. most people spend anywhere from $5K-$8K for a band. i got a steal and am paying $2300.00. i am probably the exception so don't go by me, but it is possible.

I know my band goes for about $5K. But I've seen bands go up to $20K.

I think that the average is between $5-7k.

Mine's a friday night and we're paying $4900... I think Saturdays my band runs about $500-1k more... Peter Greco band

I just booked Soul Revival and I'll FM you what I am paying. I personally think what we paid is reasonable. We were on a tight budget and they were willing to work with us. That's very important to me too

please dont. they come in such a range of prices. you'll defintely find one. i didnt book them but i really liked peter greco and they worked on the price.

i have listened to soo many samples on line and very few of them had good female singers that sounded lively

i want people to dance - music and food are the most important!!!!

exactly - my sister got married almost 9 years ago and people still talk about the band and food!! they were good, i just dont want the same band - my fiancee need spanish music!!

italina, spanish, greek, u name it,,

they are approx $7k, for a friday in may ,, at least thats we are paying
