I am looking for the WOW factor, but still want something different. Not the usually banquet hall. I am having a small wedding, about 100 people. My colors are blue, yellow and silver. People always say 'I AM EXTRA' so I want to give that EXTRA but Different feel.

I've never been to fox hollow or jericho, but i have been to crest hollow...not for a wedding, but my entire med school took up every room for our graduation brunch. Personally i dont like any of your three choices from what i have heard from various people and the grapevine. I also want that WOW factor so i know what cha want. I dont want to offend anyone who is having, or had their wedding at those places so i'll shoot up a FM now.

Try westbury manor!!!!!!!!!! I think that is different, after all how many places have peacocks roaming the grounds and exotic birds sitting on branches!

I am biased since I am getting married at Crest Hollow. I fell in love with it when I went there but there is nothing unusual about it. The grounds are amazing and I feel like we are having a destination wedding when we are outside.

I don't know about CHCC but I find the other two places to be a little more typical wedding places (not trying to offend anyone!)

I had around 100 people and got married at Old Field Club...I thought it was definitely unique and absolutely gorgeous!

Honestly, I think those places are the usual halls. They are nice halls, but they are halls. If you want something different you may need something that's not the usual hall. Places on the water are different, maybe a mansion instead of a hall, a vineyard, maybe a place like Flowerfield, Old Field Club they are a bit different than the typical. I had my prom at CHCC and went to a wedding there. It's a nice place. The outside is pretty nice but I dont know if they have the fountains going in April, and I don't think you'll get an outdoor CH, which was really nice.

ITA with everyone on here basically. They are all beautiful halls don't get me wrong. But if you are looking for the RH to be the WOW factor i dont think they do. I mean the flowers and music and the way you do things can. I think they are beautiful and are great places but as for a wow factor of that bat I dont think they have that. What feel are you going for? What kind of decor?

I am going for that WOW factor, where it is like, oh this is different.
My BFF got married at Westbury Manor, the outside was nice, but the inside was like any other RH. I want something with a lake or nice garden outside.
I know in April, I can't have my wedding outside, or maybe I can depending on the weather. That is why I feel Crest Hollow might not be for me, because the outside is soooooo nice, but the inside is like any other RH. I want that inside and outside, to be unique and have that WOW factor. So far, I felt like Fox Hollow, gave me that. But I really want to see more places. It is so hard looking for places

There are soo many other places in this area to get married. What style are you looking for, maybe more details of what you like would be helpful for suggestions.
Are you looking in Nassau? Suffolk?
