Baptismal certificate

I just got a call from the church. I need to make an appointment with the priest and I need to bring my baptismal certificate.

How long does it take to obtain an updated certificate? Do I call the church to make an appointment or can I just stop by and ask for it?

OMG...I am stressing out.

I got mine within a week. I called the church I was baptized at. They took down my address and sent it out. Maybe call and ask to pick it up...it will save the mailing time. Don't stress...the churches have to do this all the time.

i called my church and they had it ready like 2 hours later

Can get it same day. Call and ask them to have it ready by time you get there.

i got mine with in a week, nothing to stress about. i called mine and they said i can come by and get it or they can mail it to me.

Call your church and you can either pick it up or they mail it to you. They do it all the time.

I got mine on the same days as well. I would call your church and tell them your situation. I am sure that they will be able to help you out.

I got my fiance's in 2 days when I called St Agnes...where he was baptized. They had it in the mail the next day and I had it right away. It does not take long just call the church you were baptized in.
