I was wondering if anyone has been to an affair at the bayview house, I am having my wedding there and I was wondering how the food and service are?

I've been there before for a wedding and the food and service were great! I actually wanted to get married there but the only thing was for the cocktail hour there wasn't enough room for everyone to sit. Good Luck!

i have an appointment to look at Bayview house at Captain bill's this tuesday. It doesn't have the capacity for a descent size wedding?

I am having between 175-225 people so there is enough room for my sized afair. And all I keep hearing about is how great the food and service are. I was originally going to have it at the crescent bveach club but the room at the bayview house is soo beautiful, plus you can enter the room down this beautiful staircase. It will be such a grand entrance.

It has the capacity for a larger sized wedding, but not for a seated cocktail hour.

I booked Captain Bill's for my wedding on July 3 2005 and we got a great price. $82pp for a sunday wedding. That included your centerpieces and cake. The cocktail hour room is kinda small but there are so many other pluses. I can't wait!!

WOW! that doesnt sound bad at all! I plan on getting married in March of 2005, so I will have to see if the pricing is any different. Thanks 4 the imput, it's appreciated
