BBB Question

Soo me and DH are unpacking all our new appliances and toys that we got for our engagment/shower/wedding (someone told me it was bad luck to use anything you get for engagement/shower before the wedding) dont know how true that is but im werid like that so i didnt wanna use anything!

so we are tight on space in our tiny apt, so it was hard to find space to but the kitchenaid mixer, the pannini press, the blender, the waffle maker, etc. so in our tiny kitched we put a shelf one of those ikea shelves that look like they are coming out of the wall...

well i guess there is a weight limit for those shelves cuz it came crashing down! dented our waffle maker, pannini press, and our kitchenaid just doing sound right!! so sad cuz nothing has even been used yet!

so my question is...if we dont have a recpiet for the items that were all purchased at BBB on our registry, will they let us exchange it if we say we opened them and they were dented (mysteriously)
and the kitchen aid doesnt work??? is that too obvioius??? ugggh i was soo excited to FINALLY be able to use all our toys!!!

I don't know about the exchanging part but they should let you. I just wanted to give you hugs I can't wait to use mine either (FH won't let me use our stuff either he also feels it is bad luck).

Re: BBB Question

They didn't ask me for receipt for anything when I went in there. I just told them that the items were on my registry. One came completely broken in the mail (a ceramic garlic holder that I love) and I exchanged it. Some others I returned and got other items instead. They didn't even ask me for my name. I think their return / exchange policy is very liberal. Good luck!

yeah we've already exchanged a few things and didn't have a problem. it's common to get some things broken, so i wouldn't sweat it!

I returned my wine frig after using it for 4 months...it decided it didnt want to stay cold anymore. They took it back and just looked up my registry to see if it was on there.

i think you will be fine if u tell them its broken....maybe don't bring all three back at once or it might look suspicious. If you do one at a time or go to different stores it might work better...i dunno just an idea
