BBB registry event / my personal advice

BBB registry event / my personal advice

they are having a registry event @ the Westbury BBB next WED. i think you have to sign up.. but it sounded neat. ANy1 wanna go?

also, i registered @ the Westbury BBB on Sunday. Last night I went to the BBB in Manhasset and they have tons of different stuff, especially bedding. My suggestion is to DEF go to diff locations and register because not all stores carry the same merchandise. Also, I think with the more expensive items, it would be in your best interest to make sure they carry them in the stores and not just online. Most people will be shopping for your registry 1-2 weeks before your shower which wont leave them with enough time to get something shipped. they might not also want to pay for shipping (15$ or so). so i do suggest u make sure the bigger ticketed items are available for purchase in stores.

OoO what do they do at the registry event??

I agree with going to separate locations. I originally registered at the BBB in Oceanside. We later went to the one in Westbury and saw so many more things that were great!

Ok be honest - which one has BETTER stuff, in your opinion? I work right near Westbury BBB, FH works near Manhasset BBB. We live equidistant from both.
THANKS!!!

Re: BBB registry event / my personal advice

The lady @ bbb in manhasset signed me up for the registry event for next week at westbury. so you do have to have ur name on the list. she said somethign about wine and appetizers.. yaddda yadda and vendors will be there.. like the 1 in manhattan had monique lhullier(sp?) so there will be vendors from lenox i think. i THINK its from 6-9. i will call and find out

as far as which store i like better..... WESTBURY has all the fine china and decorative candy dishes and vases and picture frames.. so def westbury..

altho, manhassett i feel has more everyday dishes(granted, i didnt like any) and manhasset also has this charcoal and silver duvet cover that i fell inlove with, which i didnt see at Westbury.. but Westbury had the complete bed set that I want, but wasnt available in Manhasset..

so if youre registering for fine china, go to westbury cuz manhasset only has about 10 patterns in the bridal registry cubicle on display.

i will be going to the BBB in lake success this week and give u my feedback on that store lol

If you girls are registering at BBB, make sure to go to the one that carrys Fine China, these stores are much bigger and have more merchandise. Not all the stores carry China. And I definitely agree with Barb about going to different stores....the stores are rated at different levels so one in one town gets level 1 while another town will get level 2 stuff as well.
