So our e-party is tomorrow and we've been stalking our registry and only 3 items went. Some of them were kinda odd and I was wondering why certain things that I guess would be more appropriate for an e-party gift didn't go. So I checked availability on at least 15 items and none are available and some aren't even available online. I know it is wedding season but thats crazy! We only registered about 2 months ago. I just tried to add a few other things on or swap stuff out but everything I go to add isn't available either. After this I feel like deleting the entire registry and registering solely at Macy.s Has anyone had any similar problems there? Very frustrating and I feel bad for any guests that went to the store to buy something and had very little to pick from. We put 143 items on it so people would have a choice of what to get!

I had a similar experience, but for my shower. I just went in and saw what was available in the store, and switch things around. I think for engagement parties people will probably give cards and checks, as opposed to registry gifts. HTH

Have a wonderful celebration! I think most people give checks for engagements. I just buy the item elsewhere when it is not available on a registry. Discouraged to hear this about BBB. Will definately advise my daughter to register elsewhere.

Did you register online or in the store? I know a lot of people that have registered online and had the same problem. I think if you delete the items you know aren't available and go back to the store to pick new ones, you'll be fine! HTH

If you register online some items arent available in stores. We registered at both BBB and Macys'. Just had my shower and we had such an issue with Macys. We got lots of doubles and even a triple. We had no problem with BBB. HTH

They should have told you that when you set down with them...i mean i use to work there and i know that alot of stuff that they have are not available ...it sucks trust me ...but thats why im doing my registry at two places so that wont happen and i know it sucks but the good thing about it ...is that it goes right to your house...and people at the shower can give u a little box with a picture inside to show what they got ...but i know that high price item or not there ...im sorry that happen...i would leave some stuff on that one and just go to another place and do it with different items ... good luck

dont stress, most ppl might give you money, you can put it towards the big day or but some of the things you registered for. You still have the shower to get lots of things!
