I am having A LOT of trouble figuring out where to register for every day stuff- Bed Bath and Beyond or Target. I've already begun a registry at Michael C. Fina for the more expensive items (ie china etc) but this part I am finding more difficult.
What did you all do?

Just in case you don't know..BB&B give cash back on returned items.... THAT was a nice incentive to me...

Re: BB&B vs. Target-the Registry Battle
I read lots of complaints about Target's registry on that 'other' wedding site. I went with BB&B and Fortunoff and I was very happy with both.

I am doing Macy's, Fortunoff, and Crate & Barrel. I have heard bad things about Target's registry. So I would go with BB&B.

Re: BB&B vs. Target-the Registry Battle
I personally would not register at Target. My FH cousin and his fiance registered there and there were multiple problems. All of their bedding was discontinued and the registry had errors all over it so she was registered for 2 coffee pots, 2 vacuums, etc. when she only wanted one. Target did allow her to do returns to get store credit though. JMHO

Re: BB&B vs. Target-the Registry Battle
seems like BB&B is the clear winner. I was thinking of going with Crate & Barrell, but I actually went nuts there after Christmas (before I knew I was getting married). I am really looking for economical bed linens and bathroom decor supplies....
I guess Bed Bath will be it.
Thanks ladies!

As most of you know, i work for BBB so that is my choice!
I am registering there and at Fortunoff (for the not so every day stuff)!.
BBB has just opened 2 new locations: Sayville w/ Fine China shop, and W. Babylon. The Farmingdale store is one of our smallest on the Island, while our Huntington store has a large selection of dishes (for you, Kissy: ). The Westbury store is the largest store on the Island. Hope this helps!!

I will be doing MACY's , Fortunoff, Crate and Barrel and Sur La Table. I was just at Sur La Table the other day getting a gift cert for my sister and grabbed the registry info - I fell in love with the place. They have high end cooking and baking things.

Re: BB&B vs. Target-the Registry Battle
We did BBB and Macys. So far I have found everything I need. If I need something else from another store I might add a nother store on, but I doubt it. I am satisfied.

Thanks Kris!!! I will definately have to check the Westbury store out when I go to Fortunoffs...I really wanted to do majority of the stuff at BB&B but didn't find everything...Thanks for ALL the help!
