BBQ Caterer??? Anyone know one???
I'm starting to think about my RD and we want to do a Yankee/Red Sox backyard BBQ theme.I am going to get it catered, but I wanted theme food like burgers, hot dogs, sausage, etc.
I really don't want to cook myself or have any family doing it, I want them to enjoy and relax.
Anyone know a caterer that will do this? I'm having 50 people at my RD.
TIA!

You can also try Famous Daves in Hauppauge. My cousin used them to 'cater' her husband's birthday party BBQ and everyone loved the food!

I'll repost what I had put. Just in case it is what you are looking for. They don't necessarily come and BBQ for you but they have platters of pulled pork, brisket, etc and a ton of other things. Tennessee Jack's in East Islip, the food is PHENOMENAL! :) Their catering menu is on their website.http://www.tennesseejacksbbq.com/
I know the owner, they are really great to work with! FM if you want more info.

Re: BBQ Caterer??? Anyone know one???
I threw a family picnic last year and I did not want any of the guys in the family to be standing by the BBQ the whole time and miss the picnic with the family, so I found a caterer and they did it for us. They provided the food (hamburgers, hot dogs, sausage, chicken, corn on the cob, beans, rolls, and condiments) and cooked it for us for 4 hours for $5 a person. We added drinks (soda, juice, water, and a keg of beer) to that for an additional $4 a person. The food was great and they were so nice and helpful. Please FM me if you need their phone number.

Famous Dave's is awesome! We have a bunch in MD where I live, but I think they are also in NY. Check their webpage for locations.

I highly recoomend Busco's catering in Rockville Centre. We used them for our engagement party and it was wonderful. People were so impressed by the food, tables, chairs, tent, linens, and servers. They have different menus for a barbecue: We had hamburgers, hotdogs, steak, and sausage. He had tons of salads and corn on the cob. The crowd pleaser was the GOOD Humor ice cream freezer with over 100 pieces of different kinds of ice cream. The grill guy was great and the servers were unbeliveable. They set up, served the guests, and cleaned up.Welcome New Vendors
