Does anyone know what is the 'real' deal with this place? Is it closed ( out of business) or they're closed for renovations?

I ordered my dress from them
I left several messages and no call back as of yet

I know someone else was talking about ths and the same thing happened to her. She has to find a new dress. Another girls mother bought a dress there.. but she got her dress.
I also read something about them lieing about the designer and not actually putting through orders. And I heard 2 different stories from 2 girls about waht is going on there. One said they bought another location and I forget the other story.. but neither sounded good. I am soooo sorry! Hopefully it works out in the end. Keep trying to get in touch with them. Go there if you have to. Call Help Me Howard! And keep posting.. bc I know someone must know something.

This is a nightmare!

I ordered my dress there and my mom ordered a MOB for my sister's wedding next month.

My sister's going to do a drive by ASAP to see if she can find out anything.

Thank you so much - I just called them again and the voicemail is to the max , so now you can't even leave a message.

I know. I've been trying now, too. Same thing. Let's hope that we're both having heart attacks for nothing!

I'll let you know if/when I hear anything. If you get any response, would you please pass it along?

She also spoke to people in one of the neighboring businesses. They said News 12 was there. I don't have Cable, so I can't check their web site. They also said some government agencies have been there.

What??? Now what are we going to do??

I'm trying to contact the designer directly to check on the status of my order/location of my dress.

I'm sure it'll all get straightened out . . . it's just very stressful in the meantime.

I hope that you find out what's going on. My mom thought they might have closed because whenever she drives by the store it is dark and closed up looking. They still have dresses in the window but I don't know if the store is empty. Their website is still up and running but that doesn't mean anything.

Try calling the Nassau County Office of Consumer Affairs - they might be able to shed some light on the situation or point you in the right direction.

Of course, you should also try calling your dress' designer and see if they have a status for you.

I bought my dress from them and didn't have any real problems. My sash didn't come in with my dress but they worked on getting it in time for the wedding. Everyone was helpful and nice about the whole situation.

UPDATE: Well, news 12 is doing a story on them and its coming out in two days. I called and they told me that BC had been saying that they're renovating but that is not true. They are asking for brides that put money down to come forward and give them a call..
