Well, this is on Block Island, which would entail you going to Montauk and taking the ferry, but we stayed at the Blue Dory last fall and LOVED it. We loved Block Island in general, and plan on going back again this fall. The Blue Dory were reviewed as the 'most romantic B&B on BI' and I think they're right! (Not that I saw all of them...) We stayed in Cupid's Corner which they say is 'a room to spend a wedding night.' It's all the way up on the top floor, very private, with a big old jacuzzi tub for two. We enjoyed that!

Oh, and the food was really good. Breakfast was very tasty and they serve fresh-baked cookies, wine, tea and munchies around 5pm every day.

This is where FH & I got engaged.

It's in New Hope , PA. right on the border of NJ & PA.
You can drive there in a couple of hours from LI.
Porches on the Towpath

They have choices of 12 different rooms.
The owners cook breakfast every morning & you can eat it on their wrap around porch. Each room comes with it's own bathroom. Rooms 1-8 are in the main house(we've stayed in #2) Rooms 9-12 are in the Gatekeepers House, which is a block of rooms with their own private enterance (we've stayed in #10-nice but a little small)

There are activites nearby like Water Tubing, You can buy tickets to their town Playhouse to see a show. They have tons of cute shops & delicious restaurants with outdoor seating areas and delicious ice cream shops for dessert. You can take walks along the canal and feed the ducks (that was where FH proposed)
Also, If you drive into NJ you can go hot air ballooning (it made me a little dizzy being so high)
