Beer Favor? At least a little classy, I swear!

So FH just got back from doing this brewing/bottling your own beer thing at a place with some friends from work....they made a 'Cran Maple Winter Staple' Beer (yes that's the name of it!)....comes in 22oz bottles...and you get to make your own labels and everything....now he's thinking, hmmm wedding favor? What do you all think? It could be kind of cool, and we could make it interesting beer......we're really having trouble figuring out something that fits us, and we're not really wine ppl but we do love beer! (and i'm not talkin about light beer!)

Def. interesting and original...I personally would love to receive it as a favor...not too sure about the older crowd though...

we REALLY wanted to do this - Dave's a HUGE beer fan....

we were going to do wine for the older folk & beer for the younger ones....

oooh interesting.....well some of the older folk would def be into the beer.....FH has a BIG Irish/Scottish family filled with guys...his dad is one of 9, and 8 of the 9 are boys....his dad and 2 of his uncles used to drive a beer delivery truck when they were young....haha.....my family I would worry more about, but I think they could be into it mostly....it's more the women I would worry about....hmmm.....


......and the children, obviously, would have to get a different favor.....hehe....

FH & I would have loved to do this but frankly he's just not ...how can I say.....motivated enough!

I think it's a great favor. If I were a guest I'd think it was really cool that they 'brewed' it themselves and put the time and effort into it.

Yeah FH actually lives in NJ, that's where he did it (I live in PA).....I wonder if you can do Root Beer too....that could work for kiddies and potentially some of the women folk who don't like beer (my mom's not a huge beer fan but she LOVES root beer....)


.....hmmmm.....something to consider! We could even do personalized pint glasses with it.....hm......liking it more and more....!

Yeah I'm pretty sure it is! FH's Cran Maple Winter Staple or whatever they did their labels with just a maple leaf on it but he said they could have done something more, but they're all boys....so, you know.....hehe....
