Before FH proposed...

FH asked my dad before he proposed! We were in Pittsburgh at the time at school... and FH decided that day he wanted to do it, he already had the ring, but I guess he was waiting for the right time. So that night he asks me if I want to go out to dinner, and says he wants to go home and shower first... and in the mean time he goes to get the ring, buys me flowers and call my dad. So I'm waiting for FH to pick me up and my sister messages me online and goes... 'Dan just called me and asked for our house number...' and I knew then what he was doing! I didn't know if it was going to be that night though, or that weekend, but when he showed up with the flowers, and when he was all nervous and quiet during dinner I knew what was coming!

Later on that night when I talked to my Dad to announce the good news, he said he wanted to mess with Dan so bad and tell him no, but that he sounded so nervous that he couldn't! Poor FH... he gets so nervous... he's probably going to be a mess on our wedding day before the ceremony!

Yeah... my sister ruined the supirse when she asked me why FH called her and asked for our house number, I knew why he was calling our house then... lol...

Oh well, it didn't matter... I knew it was coming soon since we went ring shopping together!

Fh said that he couldn't ask my mom b/c he knew she would some how let it slip. I am super close w/ my mom. But he told my step-dad right before he did it. It was nice b/c he did it infront of like 50 relatives on x-mas eve and everyone was as suprised as me.

That's why my FH waited till right before he did it... he was afraid my mom would let it slip too, lol
