Before you buy your tiara.....

you MUST go to Barron's at Tri County Flea Market !!!

Trusting the advice of my fellow LIW'ers, I made the trip Saturday...and...HOLY GUACAMOLE....did I save a TON of $$$

In a bridal shop, I was admiring tiaras that were all in the $525 - $575 range They had about 10 in the pretty glass case.

When I was at Bridal Elegance ordering my daughter's moh dress (we got all dresses there - her prices cannot be beat!) her tiaras were in the $200 - $ 250 range. She has about 20 there.

So...I took my Mom to TriCounty....OMG!!! Barrons has, no joke..at least 400 tiaras...all lined up in the cases, in every shape & style....and all really nice...so totally NOT 'flea market' stuff.

So, Yana, the owner, starts pulling out the ones I point to, and the price on the ones that I loved most from the 400 to choose from? $89.

You must go see her!!!

I also ordered a cathedral length veil, with a scallopped edge & beading AND a fingertip length with scallopped edge, beading and a little emdroidery for HUGE savings....the whole bill...both veils and a tiara that looks like it was made for my dress ....UNDER $400!!!

I wore it all night...eating chinese food in my parents kitchen (my father laughed every time he looked at me!)...drove home on the so. state parkway wearing it...walked to my neighbors house to show her while I was wearing it too!

SAME HERE!!!! BARRON's ROCKS!!!!! I saved like 300 bucks on the tiara I choose and they are soo gorgeous!!

Gotta tell you....I don't know where you'll find a bigger selection (unless you go the Thomas Knoell route, and pay $$$$$$ to have one designed for you)

Personally, I know that as a bride, I tend to torture myself over every minute detail...but really, who the heck is paying THAT much attention to my tiara, besides me, my mother, and my ONE bridesmaid who actually gives a crap?

YUP....sorry to tell you....that's the prices I saw in Bridal Reflections when I tried on my dess.......and, considering I was there trying on a dress that I was gonna get thru Phyllis for $600....it was CRAZY to think I'd pay the same amt for my tiara as my dress!!!

(I ended up getting a different dress, btw!)

WOWWWWWWW. Paying that much for a tiara seems a bit crazy to me.... I'm in shock. Really. I guess though if you have the $$$, all the power to ya!
