I think we should search it first, because it seems as though there are multiple postings about the same thing, when all we have to do is just do a search...No? I think brides can find even more information that way....JMHO!

I say yes and no. I usually try to search, but sometimes get nothing or sometimes the posts are several years old. Also doesn't it make you feel more a part of a community when you participate in a conversation?

That is a good idea and I know I always try it. Sometimes words are blocked - that is so frustrating!!

I am definitely guilty of this. I have posted a question and then found the same question on page 2 or 3 of the BHB board. I have gotten better though!

yea, that's a good idea, but i do like seeing all the responses i feel sometimes the poster is also looking for support (like me - sometimes i need support and opinions). i'll try to search first but i'm sure i'll be guilty of double or triple posting

I would say definately try to look to make sure you don't post something the same day... otherwise I don't see it as a problem if someone asked a question that was asked b4.. it seems like most girls are happy to be helpful in anyway they can

Not everyone has time to scan the different most recent pages to see if the topic they need to ask happens to be there. Its easier to just find your post. also the search is good but it doesnt always find what i am looking for but it is worth a search before posting. i also like how when i do post a similar threads show on the bottom of the post- thats always helpful and wouldnt show up if i didnt post!

I have been searching for churches the past week that dont require classes and everythime I search a church- not much comes up and most is blocked for some reason. Sorry if I bothered anyone...

sometimes the way I search a topic , it doesn't come up the right way for the answers I am looking for.
I am sure almost every single wedding question has been asked one way or another , but maybe someone else could have a different spin on it?
