DH is going there on a business trip in august but I think the company's budget is $250 per day. I will be going too.
Also, what can I do besides just sit poolside during the day? Anything within walking distance from popular resorts?
Any info will do. This will be our first trip.

Re: Bermuda- Places to stay, things to do...
You can take the bus anywhere, it is very cheap. you can buy tokens from the hotel lobby. definitely go to the Dockyard. it's not huge, but you can walk around and shop a little bit. There are also snorkeling boat rides you can take, they are about 2-3 hours out at sea. there is also tours of the island that take you around where the famous people live, or have houses. Walk around in the center of hamilton. there is fort hamilton you can walk around, there is an aquarium, and the caverns to walk through.
there isn't a whole lot to do there. it's just a beautiful island. the people are sooo nice too! the stores close early around 5ish and the restaurants are open until around 9-10. i would suggest going to the Hog & Penny in Hamilton if you can. We went there twice it was very good! just beware that the buses stop early as well, so don't get yourself stranded. they come very infrequently as the night goes on and in certain places. DH and i were stuck on the side of the road for a while in the dark!! We wound up getting a cab, but they can be very expensive!
if you have any other questions let me know. have a great time!

Fort Hamilton and the dockyard sound like fun. How late does fort Hamilton and the caverns and aquarium close?
