For me it was at The Huntington Townhouse back in '93 it was soooooo happening and the food & teiki bars were awesome The place was the biggest at the time

I would say Russo's on the Bay!! I haven't been to a wedding there in a while, but I remember being blown away! My close second would be Fox Hollow. I was at a wedding there last year and everything was awesome!!!!

One of the best I went to was at Flowerfield - the whole thing was just amazing.

Another one was a winter wedding I went to at The Jericho Terrace. The whole thing was beautiful, and the food was great.

Land's End and Tribecca Rooftop were my two favorite weddings. Land's End for the view and atmosphere and I was with a reall hot guy , Tribecca Rooftop was just so amazing, the views of the city and the food, OMG was there food......It never ended!!!!

A bed and breakfast in Pennsylvania, the Sterling Inn or something like that. It was gorgeous, the food was great, the setting was unique.

I think Russos and Jericho Terrace have the best food ever!!
As for decor and ambience, I would say the best place I've been to was the Glen Island Harbor Club - very elegant!

I went to a wedding a Troutbeck that was so much fun- it was a January wedding and it started to snow the day of the wedding- it was so amazingly beautiful with the snow falling and the grounds the way there were. PLUS we were all staying over- so it was QUITE the party.

for food... nothing really has blown my socks off- I just went to a wedding at the Liberty House in NJ (right by Ellis Island) and I remember the passed hor's being really great.

I went to a Russos wedding when I was 20 and remember being VERY impressed with the cocktail hour.

For Food, Villa Lombardi's has always impressed me.

For ambience, probably either Louis XVI (so pretty) or the Strong-Todd House in Rochester.

My cousin got married at Majestic Gardens in Dec of 2000, and not only was the place beautiful, the food was amazing!

Villa Lombardi's is also very nice, and the best salmon I ever had was at my friends wedding at the Sandcastle.

FH wants me to go with him to a dry wedding in NC in April, I will probably report that back as the worst wedding ever.

Pleasntdale (sp?) Chateau in NJ....(one of the nicest places in NJ..)
It was a huge wedding (440 ppl) black tie wedding and it was a big Cuban family and a big Italian family.....
They had 2 bands, and one was a famous Cuban band and it was AWESOME!!! We danced to latin music till 2 am (it was an extended reception)

The priest was actually the same priest that married Marc Anthony (Father Ricky was his name) and he was unbelievable!!!!

DH was a groomsman and all of our friends were there...It was just amazing, SO MUCH FUN and the most elegant wedding ever!!!

I went to a wedding in St. Joseph's, Missouri this past spring.
St Joseph's is home of the pony express, a hour north of Kansas City. There is not much else there. The rehearsal dinner was at a Karaoke bar. The groom was the funniest!
The wedding itself was very low key. The MOB made all of the food, they had a local DJ and a keg.
But you know what, people had the BEST time. They played Footloose and Proud Mary. The entire bridal party reenacted the Footloose scene from the movie. I never laughed so much. Then my FSIL did a version of Proud Mary that would knock your socks off.
It was how much $$ they spent or how great the food was but it was how comfortable it was and the fun we had.

I thought the food at the Marina Del Ray was great! I also think the food at Villa Lombardi's is great. I think Oheka is gorgeous!

My brother's wedding at a Temple in one of the 5 Towns. Hands down the best wedding ever. The band was unbelieveable, the food was amazing, the room/temple was gorgeous, and as we left we were greeted by a full bakery set up at the door, giving everyone bags full of goodies to take home (this was after the Viennese hour). There was a classical pianist provided that played in the middle of the cocktail hour room, set up on a stage. It was simply breathtaking!

Our Best Man and Matrons wedding 3 years ago.

She had 19 harley's escort her limo to the church. The first bike was a 1940 Harley with a side car. It was awesome. All the guys had on shirts the bride and groom bought them, black jeans, black boots and all the bikes were polished and shined up nicely.

The weather couldnt be better for them. The ceremony was beautiful.

Her mom passed away a few years before her wedding and at her reception she did a special dance with her step father, and her cousin sang 'the rose' by Bette Midler to them. Not a dry eye in the entire room.

It was beautiful

Went to a gorgeous wedding at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden's Palm Court this weekend. Would have been even lovelier in spring for some, maybe, but the autumn leaves and Japanese tea garden looked incredible. The food was good, too... nothing outlandish, but very elegant. The band was a jazz combo. A classy event.
