For me it was at The Huntington Townhouse back in '93 it was soooooo happening and the food & teiki bars were awesome The place was the biggest at the time

When my cousin's girlfriend got pregnant, they threw a wedding together in 2 weeks. Invitations were by telephone & the reception was at a Knights of Columbus hall. Food was mostly cold sandwiches, the bar was all top shelf & they had 2 bands so the music never stopped. We dressed causally & comfortably & this was without a doubt the most fun I've ever had at a wedding.

I would have to say the Water's Edge. I have been to Queen's Landing in Niagra on the Lake and there was a wedding going on and I thought how amazing, but too far!

I went to a beautiful wedding at the Rockleigh Country Club in New Jersey. It was very elegant.

I also liked John Anthony's viennese with the candy cart..I love candy.

Also..the most fun I had at a wedding was in a firehouse in Pennsylvania. They played all the group songs like 'The Chicken Dance, Macarena, Hands Up, YMCa in a row. It wasn't the fanciest wedding but we had a blast drinking white zinfindel and Screwdrivers because it was the only alcohol served!

My MOH's wedding at Majestic Gardens.

Food wise it had to me my wedding at VIlla Lombardi's, since I actually had a cegetarian choiuce, instead of just Grilled Vegetables.

My Brother's wedding in Disney was also great, since it was at Disney.

Sorry, I don't think I've ever been to the best wedding. The only best wedding was my own of course. It was truly the happiest day of my life.

Three weddings come to mind:

Good friends of ours got married in a small town in Italy outside of Milan that was right on the lake. It rained the entire time we were there except for there ceremony. We then had a six course meal at four star hotel with gorgeous views of the lake.

A good friend of mine married in March 2002 in New Rochelle at a club that was right on the water. Her fiancee had been in Tower I on 9-11-01 and they almost eloped right afterwards. The ceremony was so beautiful and emotional. The reception was a lot of fun. Her family and all of her parents friends were these fantastic salsa dancers, so the dance floor was backed.

FH's sister's wedding was in Chicago in a historical building on the water. It was a lot of fun for everyone.

The best weddings though have so much to do with the friends and family and your relationship with the bride and groom. They closer you are to them, I think they more fun that you have.

Carlyle on the Green and Oheka and Watermill- great places- awesome weddings. first two are a little out of my league $$ wise so I am going to my other favorite- Watermill!

Best wedding for me: my brother's ('93) at Jericho Terrace...really good food and just a whole lot of fun (at least from what I remember )

Best Wedding so far is Curly2003 wedding at LeonardsI had SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much Fun...We danced sooooo much...I def think it was the best!

Tribeca Rooftop in NYC. The food was great and I practically had my own personal waiter. They didn't go over the top on anything, but the bride had my favorites dress ever, they rented nice linens, had valet parking in NYC, etc. I thought a wedding I went to at the St. Regis Hotel (I now know they must have spent $400 per centerpiece) would be the best but it really wasn't. I also had a great time at a super budget wedding - alcohol, cake, cheese, and one musician. But I was SO drunk because of that and had a great time!

My cousin's reception at the Carlyle (Eisenhower park) was unreal! Everything was amazing, food, service, the hall itself. Over the top!!

I think i may have to go with Carlyle too...

the most fun I had at a wedding was when I was 12 at my cousins wedding...he put all of the young cousins in the back at our own table and we loved it - danced the whole time - thats why I insisted on having kids at my wedding...they know how to have a good time!...I think it was at the Miller Place Inn??

you will not be disappointed with the Vanderbilt...we went to a wedding there and its a beautiful place...too bad the bride was a Biotch...

My best friend got married at Stewart Manor & we loved it so much we chose it. (before we were even engaged! )

I also went to a friends wedding in NJ (I can't remember the name of the place) But she had EVERYTHING!! The food was out of this world! She paid big time for the wedding!!

I wanted to book my reception there but we fell in love with Jericho Terrace
