Cutting out overly processed foods.
Basically, if it doesn't come from the perimeter of the supermarket, don't eat it. It's really hard at first, but you definitely feel better eat whole, real foods.

I would say. I do monitor my calorie intake very strictly. Also I try not to eat alot of processed foods. I am more of an organic food person. In conjuction to my eating I do workout like 5-6 times per week. I do not drink juices or sodas strictly water.

work out often - try daily for at least an hour (mostly cardio), drop the junk food and portion control your intake.

Calories In - Calories Out...just the basics.
The 'fad' diets only work short term.

Body for Life. You shoudl definitely check it out.

You don't have to exercise a whole lot to see a big difference - it's more about what type of exercise you do - weight training makes a HUGE difference!!!

Try to eat quality carbs and watch your portion size. Eat smaller more frequent meals.

Indulge yourself foodwise, and rest exercisewise one day a week. There are actually physiological benefits to this as well as psychological - your body doesn't think it's starving and doesnt' try to hold on to fat stores. Also, if you do a weekly shop late in the indulgence day, you're less likely to make poor food choices because you'll be satisfied.

I've had the most success with weight watcher and even moreso with just working out. I stopped dieting altogether and started working out 3x a week, and I've had the best results that way so far. If I add in a diet, it'll just be a moderation type of thing, which I am alread sort of doing, or WW. I really like WW because it's all about moderation and healthy eating..no fads involved!
