Best Man Question

Re: Best Man Question

My FH asked his brother...but for my MOH, since I have no sisters, I asked my very best friend since Kindergarten. In fact, for all of my bridesmaids, I chose close friends who I had known at least 9-10 years...this is such a special day that 20 years from now when i look back at my pictures, i don't want to see some face and wonder who she was and what happened to her, b/c we don't talk anymore... I hope that helps

Not really, but I am having my cousins as a BM. The rest of the wedding party are our siblings with with respective spouses.

I agree that even though they may all be close, there is probably someone who is the person he thinks of FIRST....that should be his BM....the one he thinks of without thinking...

alternatively, if they are all equal in stature and esteem with your FH, he can call them all groomsmen and divide the BM duties up equally between them...or call them his Best MEN....

Ugh. He is such a butthead about this. He is totally agonizing over this. When I ask him who he is thinking about asking, he tells me that everytime he talks to one of the boys he thinks he knows who to pick....but then he will talk to one of the others and he changes his mind.

Maybe he should ask all of them. I'll mention it tonight.

I think it's difficult. My FI picked his best friend and then the guy never showed up to our e-party after RSVPing yes. Hasn't called FI since. So he had to ask one of his other friends since he doesn't have any brothers.

FH doesnt want to choose. he is not that close to his older brother, even though he was just the BM in his wedding.
so we decided to not have BEST man and maid of HONOR and just do bridesmaids and groomsmen.
b/c we were both in similiar situations wiht our siblings. my sis is only 17, and we are not close right now.

i picked his brother - yes, i know what you are thinking - what did I pick? well, he would've asked his cousin. i have no problem with the cousin being in the bp, they are close. but i think his brother is a better choice simply b/e its his brother and they will always be brothers
