I brought my swatches over to the tux place last night and they matched up the dark purple that the bm's are wearing exactly.
As of right now, I put BM in a vest that would match MOH's dress which is a lighter purple then everyone else. How do you girls feel about the BM being in a diff. color vest then the rest of the GM?

It sounds fine to me! I am not doing colored matching vests for my BP, not even for FH, just because I am not a fan of the matching, at least w/my colors I think your's will make a nice contrast

IMO. not a huge fan of the colored vests .. but I do however like the purple color and will look nice with your color combo:)

I wanted my BM to stand out a little, but that would mean putting him in a light pink vest and tie and when I mentioned that he was like 'ehh, the purple is good enough' and FH agreed, he didn't want his brother in pink... so his boutonniere will just be a little different

If you want -- and this is something I did -- you could have your BM stand out just a touch with a plain white linen pocket square, preferably folded in a TV fold.
