RK bridal has a lot, Macys, Lillettes. I got mine at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa for under $1000 but I don't know how many other ones they have in that range.

They have very nice, different, and affordable gowns. I got mine through one of their representing stores, and it was only $400. I loved it. I just got a party dress from a Discount Bridal Store, also by Watters, and I couldn't be happier.

i got it at estelles as well! i didnt have a lcue that they had wedding gowns...and i foind the one i always wanted in magazines! go there...it couldnt hurt!

My friend just got hers at Beautiful Bride ( i think thats what it was called) It's on Merrick Road in Lynbrook. Anyone familiar with the area, it's right before Hot Skates on the right hand side... I'm going to go there myself. She says that they are really nicely priced.

I also got mine at David's, for $600.
I think all but the most upscale shops have dresses for less than 4 digits. If you're willing to do research, consider buying online, and are not concerned about the designer you'll be able to find something you love that's affordable.

i saw some nice gowns at kay-ann bridals in franklin square. they were definitely under $1000.

also look at Lestans in brooklyn they take off 10-20% at times off name brands my dress sold for over 1,000 and I paid way under

I bought mine at Lynbrook Bridal for under $600 (but this is before alterations, full slip and bustle)...good luck!

Did you try Paradise Bridal in Patchogue yet? I got my dress for $600 with a shawl. Definately worth the trip, I think.

I got my dress at Lynbrook Bridal as well and it was only $570. They have a decent size selection of brides gowns as well as bridesmaid dresses. My two best friends also got there gowns there as well.

try the bridal garden, the shop that benefits sheltering arms. gorgeous designer dresses in that price range, although they typically need to be cleaned.
