If you had any choice in Long Island (no financial restraints)to choice a hall, where would your dream wedding be?

I looked at alot of reception halls when looking for my wedding. Jericho Terrace (the dome room only) is beautiful. The Carltun is beautiful for the outside gardens.

i would want a romantic setting on the water out east where is is quite- montauk perhaps.. Gurneys is beautiful. We live in Long Beach and love the water. but because of $$ and vacation time contraints (teachers) we are getting married inthe winter at the Watermill. dont get me wrong I love the Watermill but if i had my choice.....

I got married at Villa Lombardi's and if I had to do it all over...I would STILL choose it

jennbaby- we are inviting over 300 people and Oheka can not accomdate a large wedding yet only if you would like to have your reception in a tent outside.

My place was absolutely fabulous--- I couldn't have dreamed or wished for any better: Carlyle on the Green!!!

Re: Best Reception Hall

we didn't let money be a deciding factor for us when we were choosing...so it would be Land's End still...

as much as I loved it...I may have rented a house on the beach instead...or rented out the Vanderbilt Planeterium in Centerport...since I grew up near it (I just didn't know that I could before I booked LE)

if money were NO OBJECT!!! I would fly all of our guests to Spain and have it in an old castle like place there...so that DH's grandmother could have been at the wedding
