We registered for the dyson canister animal one. It got the best reviews for the pet hair. We have a puggle. Dog hair is my life.

Aw herbie has a good friend that's a puggle, but he lives in Brooklyn so he doesn't see him much! You're probably seen pics of herbie on fb he's a 80 lb lap dog (pitbull) lol

He's adorable!! FH and our daughter want a big dog so bad, but our house and yard just aren't big enough. Some day though, lol.

FH and I have a frengle. Which is sort of like a piffle but it's a French bulldog and a beagle instead

We are waiting a little bit before registering. But I need a good pet hair vacuum too so this is good to know

We went with the Shark Navigator Lift Away, but they have lots of different versions. It was only $150 and it is fantastic, I can't believe how much dirt it picks up. It has special anti-allergy filters. No one purchased my $500 Dison that I registered for, so I did some research and this Shark was rated higher than that one, so...Sold! So happy with my purchase.

We went with the shark professional $300 but it had things that 2 others had that we looked so it is the best of both world.
My mom was trying to convince me to get an Electrolux too but I like stand up.
Thanks ladies!
