BF and baby food

If you're going to continue BF for a while, when would the baby BF if you've introduced baby food? How often do you BF and give the baby, baby food?

I just started Damien on food last month.
He now gets breakfast lunch and dinner.
I BF him early in the morning before we get out of bed. Then he eats breakfast at like 8:30. He usually nurses between 10 and 10:30. He eats lunch between 1 and 1:30 and will nurse again between 3 and 3:30. He eats dinner between 6 and 6:30. He then will nurse again between like 8 and 9. He still wakes up to murse in the middle of the night too

Gosh, I cant remember the EARLY times I know it was every time she was hungry other than meal times, we were an exclusive couple.

Now shes 90% on solids and BF's 2-3 times a day.

for the first 12 months formula or breastmilk should be the baby's main source of food. the other food does not replace the nursing at all. The baby just might take a bit less bm when he really starts eating foods, but if he is just eating a bit of cereal once or twice a day from what I have read you still nurse just as often.

When they start on solids they do not breastfeed any less. The food should be 'in addition to' the BM/formula. When to give the first meal (time of day) is best decided by you. Try a time when the baby is most calm.

When I started Lyla on solids, I nursed her and then fed her. Now, I usually nurse in between meals, and although I can't measure how much she's eating, I know she nurses pretty much the same as she used to.
