ok so i am having 9 bridesmaids , 2 junior bridesmaids and 10 groomsman.. .. is this crazy? my fiance and i tried to cut it down but we dont want anyone to be insulted ! we both have big families and alot of close friends!! am i setting myself up for a major headache?

we have 9 girls and 9 guys so almost as big as yours!! Its a lot but your not crazy....you can have however many you want!!
we were the same way in that we have a lot of family and best friends we did not want to leave out....we want them all there for us on the big day so fh and I just decided to do include them all!

I have no experience with this, but I thought we had a lot with 7 on each side lol! I'm planning to take a really laid-back attitude with the whole thing, I'll tell people what they need to do, when/where to show up, what to wear and leave it at that. Aside from my 13 year old goddaughter, they're all adults and can follow instructions, I'm not going to stress over it. I think as long as you put in writing what's expected, times and dates of things they need to attend it shouldn't be too bad . . . but maybe I'm overly optimistic lol! I hope things go smoothly for you though!

I wanted a small BP but its impossible. We have 17 in our BP but I couldn't see making it smaller. In the end, as long as its the people that you want there that's all that matters.

my bridal party is big too. you should include whoever you want!!! its been a lot of fun to have a lot of BMs. i have 13 girls and 6 guys. totally off balance no less!

I also have a big bridal party. I have 1 MOH, 5 BM's, 1 Jr BM, 3 Flower Girls (pending though), than I have 2 Best Men, 7 GM, 1 Jr GM, 1 Ring Bearer. So I have 21 people. I don't think its crazy at all, and since its all family and very close friends, I am just happy they all agreed to it.

I don't think it's crazy at all; I think it's more important to have everyone that's important to you up there with you, than to get hung up on a certain number.
Our BP is slightly larger than yours, and I'm happy to have it that way.

I have a little BP, but that's the way I wanted it. You can have headaches with a 2 person BP or a 20 person...don't stress!!!

My brother and SIL had 12 each. It was pretty intense at times and to be honest a LOT of drama occurred amongst the girls. Out of the 12 girls, they stopped talking to 4 after the wedding. Like Christine said, you could have drama with just 3. Just be prepared to not let things bother you and maybe rely on your MOH to diffuse situations on your behalf. You have enough stress planning a wedding, you don't need more. And stress COMMUNICATION! Cannot say that enough. Think a lot of the issues wouldn't have turned so dramatic if people had just communicated everything that was going on.

I get so much crap from ppl who think MY bridal party is too big, and i've got fewer ppl than u do! i hear it all the time, 'ur going to have such a headache with all those ppl!....its going to be SO expensive...u dont HAVE to have everyone' even my FMIL has told me that i should leave some of my CLOSEST FRIENDS out! true story, she said i didnt need my OLDEST friend (seriously, we've known eachother since we were babies) in my bridal party!
i saw screw 'em all, and do what u want! u dont wanna look back on ur wedding day and say, 'u know who we should've included?....'

It'll only be a headache when planning your shower & bachelorette party.... whoever is gonna be in charge of that.
I was gonna have 8 girls but didn't have the guys to match so... it's 6 girls and 5 guys.
