So after a ton of deliberation we booked the View on the Hudson in Piermont NY for 10/10/15! so excited Even though we didn't book a place on long island can I still post here I love this site! HAHA

That's right near my hometown! (I'm from Irvington, across the tappan zee!) I heard that place is really great and you can't beat the view! Of course you can still post here! If you don't mind me asking, why did you choose to get married up there?

Thank you everyone!!! Now the real planning can begin! We started looking in NJ and LI at first but one of our NJ venues was the sister property of the View so that's how we found out about it. FH family lives in North Jersey so its pretty close for them.
