I started with a binder, but then got myself one of those folders that has the different sections(I keep my paper work, contracts etc for my major vendors in that). Then I have a smaller version similar to what you might keep coupons in(I use that for all my recepts) I keep an excel spreadsheet that my FH set up. When I go out I just bring a one subject notebook the take notes etc. in. This has worked really well for me!

i have a binder
some excel sheets
and the wedding wire app
and random post its, etc....

im neurotic and try to update all. then i get overwhelmed. lol.

I have a tote bag file...its super adorable. I don't carry it with me though, I file stuff away after I return home. I do take it with me when I head home to Long Island for wedding planning though.

i have a giant binder but dont carry it around. When i need to bring something with me i remove it from the binder and put it into a folder. its works to keep me organized with everything

You're best bet is going to be creating your own binder/notebook system. I know people who have gotten one big binder and just put in dividers that were needed. Usually people divide them into sections by vendor, then do sub-sections. Some people also have one binder for each vendor with all the information, that way you take whatever binder you need to each appointment. As I said, your best bet is to find out what works for you, make your own! Then who knows, if it works out well share the ideas!

i have a big folder/ shoebox with everything from contracts to misc paperwork. I have an app pn my phone that helps me with some stuff, but theknot has been great with keeping track of guest list/ address/ shower invitees.

I agree! I have been using the knot to keep my guest list organized and it's very helpful. Our moms live far away and can access it whenever they want to update addresses.
