I just started taking Biotin pills 5mg . Have these worked for anyone in terms of increasimg nail and hair length?

imn taking it now but haven't really noticed *that* much of a difference. My nails seem to be growing a little faster but my hair isn't. I am taking 2500 mg, and have been doing 1 tablet daily for the past 5 weeks.

I've been taking Biotin for the past 6 years...
I was told by my Dr that it won't make the hair 'grow' but it will help prevent it from falling out...
and honestly.. that's exactly what I notice.. my hair grows at a normal rate... but falls out less.. My nails - no difference really...
