Everyone is different so what works for me may not work for you....in terms of mood swings and all of that.

I am on estro step and it is great....I had some crazy mood swings on ortho tri cyclin and another one that started with an L....can't remember the name and Yasmine made me super nutty!!! Stopped Yasmine immediately.

i took ortho 3 and ortho lo--they both made me crazy. the pill really was an effective contraceptive since I NEVER WANTED TO DO ANYTHING while i was on it. the wild mood swings were the straw that broke the camel's back.

Ortho tricyclen - I have no problems with it. Side effects really depend on the person and not necessarily the pill they take. Each pill has side effects and they come out differently in everyone.
