Birth Control Pill

Thanks Karen, but I am actually going on the pill to help regulate my hormones... which are causing me to have a VERY irregular period.

In this case its for medical reasons (as well as the birth control part)

i've been on orthocyclen (the purple pack) for about 8-10 years. i love it!! i didn't have the weight gain like the dr. warned me - and it has kept my skin looking really good.

a few months ago my insurance company required me to use the generic (Sprintec). i hate it!!! i'm going to see if i can just pay extra $$ for the name-brand. if not - i was considering the patch, but i've heard mixed reviews!

It is so funny that I saw this post as I was on the phone trying to reach my OB. Have been on Mircette for about 7 mos, loved it at first, but now I have spotting in between AF. Its like having the **** thing all month long. So I am probably going to have to switch, AGAIN. I feel like I am a tester for BCP. I was on Ortho TriCyclen for like 8 years, it was great, then started to give me side effects. Desogen for 2 years, was great, then made me a hormonal mess the last 6 mos. I think that my bod just starts to reject the pills after a while. Now, if only my stupid doc would return my phone call, I have been trying to reach him for 3 days
