Birthday Present for Mom

Hi ladies.. need some help. Sunday is my Mom's 50th b-day and I am still confused on what I should get her. She didnt want a party so my dad surprised her and got her a vacation, they are going to Bermuda in July for a week. So I was thinking of getting her a Gift Card to that bathing suit outlet in Riverhead and then get her some other summer stuff (flip flops, sundress, tank tops) etc. Do you think this is a good gift?? I feel like the 50th should be a special gift but the woman seriously has everything!

that's a nice idea to get her stuff for her vaca.

i don't remember what i got my mom for her 50th, i don't think it was much cause i wasn't really making much at that time. but for her 55th i got her a really nice necklace she had her eye on.

maybe you can get her something sentimental that means something to you and her. or if she's into broadway shows make it a mom & me night out. take her to a show and a nice dinner.

A night out is a great idea too! I wanted to get her jewlery for the wedding but she hasn't picked a dress yet! I guess that will have to wait till mothers day.

Does she like spa massages or something like that? maybe you can call the hotel they are staying at and get her a massage while she is there on vaca...if she's not into that! I think getting her all that stuff would be great, maybe even a gift cert for a manicure/pedicure??

Thats is a great idea too!!! They are staying at a spa type resort there so I could call and see about massages. I got her one for her bday 2 years ago but this would be different cause she can use it on her vaca...

i think a basket of cruise stuff is a great idea. i usually get my mom a gift certificate to a store because every time she goes shopping she nevers buys stuff for herself. or maybe you can get a gift certificate for a mani & pedi before she goes on the cruise.
