is this the age anyone started to get depressed? I just feeling drinking myself into a corner and crying but I don't know if I really even have a reason why.

i think its different for everyone. i never got depressed on my birthdays (im 28) i feel like im still 18 so i think a number doesnt mean anything, its how you feel. but i will tell u i flipped out the other day because i found 3 gray hairs!!! AHHH!

I have grays for awhile and I'm only 24. Unfortunately they show up quite well in dark hair.

I am 33, 8 years older than 25. It is a little scary to see time slipping away, but I definitely feel much wiser and more grounded than I did when i was 20, 25, even 28.
25 is still very young. You have many years ahead of you. But time does not stand still. You are young so enjoy it!
And, at least for me, life gets better each year b/c I learn more and more. Getting older is a fact of life. The sooner we accept it, the happier we will be.

at 25 i got depressed a bit then as the years went by I just kinda went ah no biggie. I am 28 now and its really not a big deal.

I don't know yet... i'm only 23! But I'm sure that everything will be fine, you're marrying your FH and you should be happy! Its' going to be a great year!

25 was kind of rough, I'll admit it. So far 27 was my favorite year. I just turned 29. It's not so bad.

A quarter of a century....it's definitely a milestone! I still cry each year and I'll be 33 this March. The irony is that as much as birthdays suk...I always end up liking myself more as I age. There's something incredibly freeing and empowering about knowing who I am, where I come from and where I want to go. I remember 25 because I felt like I couldn't get away with kid sh*t anymore. It was very scary and very exciting. Embrace yourself...and don't worry about the number.

so RIGHT when i hit post bulletin...FH walked out with a birthday cake with my roomates. *AWWWW* I just didn't feel like this bday was 'special' I didn't feel the christmas cheer this year either (at least not until christmas night when FH and I layed in a sleeping bag by the fireplace). I don't know whats wrong with me.
It's not even necessarily about getting old because I've always been one to say I'd grow old with grace. I already found my first grey hair and even that I was like 'oh crap...cool!' but something just doesn't feel right.

so...i think all i needed...was some more alcohol. my roomate just cracked open a bottle of wine and crackers and cheese and corrine bailey ray is on the ravhd network...things are lookin up.
i had 1 mangoberry daquiri at fridays OMG ::DROOL:: I wish they could have put 5 of them in a sippy cup for me to take home.

I call it the quarter life crisis (actually John Mayer called it that)...i was very depressed at and after 25, until i turned 28 and I met my FH!

first off, happy bday!
i will tell you, all through my late teens til my early and mid 20's, i was depressed, and bdays were always extra depressing. i just always felt like no one cared it was my bday. then my 27th bday came along, and every year since then, my life has just changed for the better. i think i know how you're feeling, and i'm sure it's hard having your bday feel extra special when everyone's concerned about the holidays. you have so much to look forward to in the year to come, don't let one day get you down.
