I love the black and white. My girls dresses are black with an ivory sash. Similar style to that. I think it's soo elegant and classic. Ask your sister if she would mind.

My sister wouldnt mind. I agree that it is so classy and elegant =) If i did do the black and white I was going to put my fh in a white tux jacket and black pants what do you guys think except no bow tie he wont go for the bow tie LOL
i'm not sure how i feel about the guys in white jackets- to me it looks like something a valet or waitstaff would wear...JMO though!
love the black and white theme though...especially if you choose a color to pop against it for your flowers!

The white dinner jacket is a GREAT look during the summer months. You could prob get away with it in September as well.
I would definitely recommend you get the jacket in some variation of off-white, cream, etc. Pure white can come off looking a little harsh.
Definitely get a one-button model. Shawl lapel is the traditional way to go. Pair it with a black cummerbund and a white shirt with turndown collar and he will look sharp.
I would strongly encourage you to have him get a bow tie though. I can't recall ever seeing anyone pair a long tie with a white DJ, and the bow just looks so neat and traditional. Check out how good this looks:
Not sure if your FH is thinking of buying, but you can get a perfectly nice white DJ from Joseph A Bank for around $100-150 if you watch for sales.

My wedding is black & white too (w/ bright yellow accents)......I'm not a fan of the white jackets for the guys tho...JMO

love the black and white dresses. I would just double check with your sister to see if that would be OK considering she used that idea first.
But if it's all systems go, then GO!
As for the white jacket, I personally wouldn't want FH wearing white also. I've always dreamed of the traditional men in black tuxes and the bride being the only one wearing white. But that's just me
