Black flowers - do they exist?

Original post by Hallowedding

I want black and orange in my bo-k and I have been told by a few people that black flowers don't exist (and to use black magic roses instead) I can't find anything really when I try to Google it.

If I can't find them, maybe I'll just do fall colors and add black accents - maybe black feathers and black ribbon wrapped around the stems....

haloweenwedding - show us some pics when you decide what you want. I love black flowers & really want to see how they look as a bridal bo-k!

What if you did all orange flowers and had your girls in all black gowns, or do all orange flowers and have them spraypaint babysbreath black and put that in.

No problem! I'll even post pics when I get my samples.

I saw John from Flower Michele yesterday, and he showed me pictures of bo-ks with blackish schwartzwalder calla lilies in them. So beautiful! My fiance wants one as his boutonniere.

Unfortunately the queen of the night tulips (and probably all tulips) will not be in season in October, so I have to move away from that idea.

I'll probably use the black roses made from feathers, the schwartzwalder lilies, and a whole bunch of other stuff that I'll find out about.

I am also a halloween bride. Congrats!!
I am using a mix of Bacarra roses, black magic and latin lady roses. This mix is so beautiful together. he latin ladies bring the perfect amount of color to the bouquets.

Yes, please!!! Thank you so much for the offer! Let me know what you find.

hi i actually have quite a few i even have a few of the ones i had specially dyed left - i have red & black and purple & black they are long ostrich feathers - they were customed dyed for us.
i have silver and black long feathers and a whole lot more - we were origionally going to have feather centerpieces then i changed my mind so i ordered a tond of feathers and didnt use but half of them.
